The “Glass Bridge” is part of the Dongguan Longfengshanzhuang Film and Television Resort, a national AAA-class tourist attractions, which is referred to as “Guangdong's first 3D fully transparent high-altitude glass bridge”, spanning across the mountain village concentric lake, offering an eye catching view through its flowing shape and super-long body. Quite often from of a high view the bridge is likened to a dragon hovering between the middle of two mountains.

The lighting design approach was to pay special attention to the soft characteristics of bridge lines throughout the night scene, with an appropriate amount of dynamic point based light sources evenly distributed from each other, to enrich the bridge body from the top, strengthening the point connection and fantasy of a starry sky echo. At the same time the bridge piers were to be illuminated bringing the illumination together. The lighting design was brough together through dynamic RGB color changing luminaires, achieving surface illumination and a meteor color effect.

The dynamic installation utilizes a control system based on “4G wireless Internet technology”; to remotely monitor, control and provide system management of the power supply, and signal of the system through the open authorization of the mobile terminal application APP.

Joinmax were awarded the “Façade Lighting Contract” to Design, Supply and Install the complete lighting system, including control. With a team of experts Joinmax successfully coordinated, delivered, engineered and installed the dynamic LED system with pleasing results.
